Fringe TV Show Pilot and Series Preview

TV junkies will have something to celebrate this fall with the arrival of J.J. Abrams latest creation FRINGE.

This marks the fourth series from Abrams whose resume includes TV hits like Felicity, Alias, and Lost. FRINGE is already generating serious buzz and is said to follow a research scientist named Walter Bishop, his son and a female research scientist who brings them back together.

Insiders are referring to the show as a cross between the X-Files, Altered States and The Twilight Zone. The two-hour pilot episode cost a staggering 10 million dollars to complete, so needless to say audiences should be expecting their money's worth. Not only that, Dawson's Creek Fans have something to look forward to because Joshua Jackson will play the lead role of Peter Bishop, a smart guy with numerous gambling debts.

The 60 minute show has already been picked up for 13 epidsodes and will air on the FOX network Tuesdays at 9pm. The entire pilot episode aired at the recent ComiCon Show in San Diego. If comic Book Fans are any indication of a successful show, well then the cast and creators of FRINGE are onto something really good.
