12/14/07: Molly Hatfield's Vermont family has been selling Christmas trees in New York for over 30 years.
Molly has been selling trees on the corner of 110th Street and Broadway for 14 years.
Every December her family sells trees at 13 locations across New York.
Molly works 14 hour days, every single day for one month. She works through the snow, freezing rain and slush.
She is known as the "tree lady" to many people in the neighborhood and has become a permanent fixture on the Upper West Side every holiday season.
Even people who are not buying trees stop by to check in, say hello, deliver a fresh batch of rum balls or ask after her kids.
Molly does not plan on leaving VT anytime soon but she can't seem to give up her life in NY either.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing Molly! She's a treasure! Way to throw down that VT accent! I love how she makes the word "cow" into a two syllable word!

"I don't want to go somewhere where people don't know me." I like that statement. It's something to think about...
Nice profile as always, Eva. And I like the music and how it works with the images.
Enjoy your escape from Vermont. Hope you enjoyed getting out. Merry holidays.
