I have done this but I bought a modded disc for the xbox 360 and I hacked the firmware to read it like a halo 2 game, but the xbox 360 died and now I softmodded my original xbox and I tried hotswapping with the same disc...it doesnt work...the old maps wont load and everything fails...

Please help me. I Opened my xbox, have the magnet, i stop the disk and swap ect. but every time i do it, the lens keeps flicking and it never reads. NEVER READS. Ive tried over 50 times and i know im swapping right. Do i need further adjustments to my xbox for this to work?

oh.Well its never failed me but i guess it varies for different xboxes.What kind of disk did you use for this tut?(dvd,cd,cdrw etc)

@roflurdead It's inside the metal casing over your dvd drive. It's under the label.

You do not have to take off the top.If you look very closely around the eject button on your xbox you will see a hole.While your xbox is running you can just push a toothpick or paperclip into the hole and that will open the disk drive and you can swap the disk from there :) Nice video!

This one is a ver A. For Ver B you need to have it flashed.

You have to take the top off your xbox case, then you have to have the top of the dvd drive taken off.
Go to se7ensins*com Sign up(use Nightcast as a Referrer) and search around for the tuts.
