Teledyaryo: Pres. Arroyo 'speedy justice vs. Ducat et al'

The President is leaving the disciplinary actions to the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) as far as this matter is concerned.

A review of policies, procedures, ground rules as well as the fitness of police commanders is in order.
Meanwhile, President Arroyo wants speedy justice for the hostage takers and high level attention to the needs and concerns of the children as well as the wider community in which they reside.
Criminal and social justice -- rule of law and compassion for the poor -- must prevail at all times.
