@soldout4 Those who are His servants are called to reveal falsehood and pronounce righteous judgment for His greater glory. God is not glorified, when we do not walk worthy, when we offer nothing in return in the way of Christian Stewardship, when we displease and dishonor Him, when we show disobedience, when we maintain a haughty not broken spirit, and when we show a lack of fear of the Lord. We are to show nothing in the way of self-interest and we are not to walk with an ungrateful heart.
@soldout4 What we do in this life, should always be for the greater glory of God. To glorify God is to be obedient, to live righteously, to praise Him, to have faith in Him, and to love Him with all of our heart. The glory of God is revealed in the attributes and presence of Jesus Christ who is a manifestation of God’s glory, as we also are called to be through righteous conduct that is a manifestation of Christ’s glory. Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. Psalms 26:2.
@soYou misspeak, to understand who the “other sheep” are you must look at the context of the verse and examine the whole passage. From Bible passages we are taught that sheep are symbols of true believers who follow Christ. His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. True sheep are those who listen to the voice of the Shepherd, and know Him. He was speaking at that time of the true sheep of Israel. He then refers to “other sheep,” who are the Gentiles, who once they hear the Word, will follow Him.
@Rylucero it seems with this one you didnt really analyze what TD jakes was saying.
CHRIST HIMSELF says 'other sheep have I who are not of this fold' and Christ didnt deny himself. So TD Jakes' statement that he should not meddle in who gets into heaven and who doesnt is not one that blasphemes Christ, it is a wise response.
Id spend less time trying to target TD jakes and use your gift of words to encourage others. because in your speeches...at what point did God get the glory?
Rylucero - you're confused on your quote of TD being asked about salvation by a Muslim.... That was Joel Osteen, word for word in a conversation on Larry King Live, when he was asked that question by Larry King. If you're going to tear people down, at least do it with facts.
Prophets have been called by God to speak for Him and to be His messenger. God speaks to these men who are commanded to reveal to mankind His plan of salvation, His will, His character, and His truth. A prophet testifies of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, that He died for our sins, they preach of repentance, condemnation, judgment, sin, and eternal torment. These are the things that prophets of God do, but that T.D. Jakes as a false prophet does not.
The quotable False Prophet T.D. Jakes, My brothers and sisters the power of life and death is in the tongue. You can have whatever you say, Youre entitled to have wellness in your body. Stop begging for what youre entitled to. You gotta speak to stuff or it wont change. Are you following what Im saying? When you stop talking back you stop fighting back. Speak to it! You lose your tongue youve lost your fighting power. Speak to it. This teaching by T.D. Jakes is an attempt to manipulate God.
The quotable False Prophet T.D. Jakes, Its what you say to yourself that gets you healed. If you say that you wont be healed you wont be healed. If you say that you are broke you will stay broke. Oh! But I came to serve notice on the Devil. The Bible says, The power of life and death is in the tongue. Slap somebody and say, You better speak to yourself. T.D. Jakes uses positive affirmations to manipulate spiritual laws that are constant throughout the universe and mandated by God not man.
The quotable False Prophet T.D. Jakes, Did you know that the Bible says, You shall have whatever you say. Now, dont you say that if you dont want no increase. If all you want is what you had dont say that anymore. But, if you want something beyond what you have ever seen, shout increase! The power of life and death is in your tongue. When you open your mouth you release power all over the room! Shout increase. This is another example by T.D. Jakes where man is exulted and deified.
