Meet our Project Manager - James Armson. Who left his city job to work with orphans in Uganda.

In 2005 James resigned as Vice President of Merrill Lynch and became a full time volunteer at Sanyu Babies Home in Kampala, Uganda. Working closely with the Homes administration, James was responsible for developing income generation and expense reduction projects to assist the Home in achieving long term self sustainability.

James worked for Sanyu Babies Home for two years before setting up and running Mikwano Children Trust Uganda in 2007. Mikwano is a UK charity dedicated to caring for helping vulnerable and disadvantaged children.

James is currently working as a Consultant for Merrill Lynch in London, before he returns to Africa in early 2009 to continue his work with the underprivileged and needy children of Uganda.
