For anyone who disagrees that Albanians were an ancient Illyrian Greek (i.e. Pelasgian or proto-Greek) tribe, I refer you to Aristeidhs Kolias book 'Arvanites kai h katagwgh twn Ellhnwn', which you may also find translated in Albanian, as well. Enjoy the freedom you gained for Kosovo today. In a couple of generations we shall all live together again in a single Hellenic Federation in our Peninsula, as we should. Romans captured Illyria & named it Epirus Nova. what they saw there were Greeks & Greek speakers only. In Mythology Dardanos was among the founders of Athens. Dardanians had once moved to Troy & founded ancient Ilion. Yet, Troads considered themselves to be Greek. Hence Dardanians were Greeks too. The same is also true for Illyrians. They too had many times applied for admittance to the Olympic Games which were for Greeks only. Linguists also say that Albanian is a mixed Graeco-Roman dialect. ;)

@bylysi - lol Pelasgoi is a Greek name-word from Greeks. Pelasgoi is a unitary name only for Greeks from Pelasgos. Many foreign radicals distort Greek things to make a false history. Dardania is from the Greek Dardanos and the Dardanike. Illyria is a Greek name for a region originally ruled by Greeks, the tribes had Greek names. All these things are from Greeks. Albanians origins are disputed and they were not original Illyrians. Only a Greek would be an original Illyrian.

but ancient greeks themselves(not you Anatolian christians today) refereed to pelasgians as the autochtonous population which lived in those lands before the "greeks" came.But then again you know better because you read it on wikipedia.

@serbgay69 Dont be so sure that the number of Serbs is around 11-12 millions since there are many Serbs who dont speak Serbian language.But those Serbs who dont speak Serbian language are pissed off on Serbian government because of its inability to fix the problems done by stealers and other dishonest people and economy otherwise they would mostly speak Serbian language since pretty much all the other languages also fail when it comes to economy.Check DNA I haplogroup created in Balkan.
