Slap Bass Lesson 4

This is part 1 of my "slap bass groove 4" video. It is very fast and fun to play. It also has some quick double plucking in there, but it can also be played with just one pluck. Up until yesterday, my slap bass playing had been stuck at the same level for far too long. thanks to these awesome licks I have been able to push myself to learn them and in doing so have dramatically improved over the last 24 hours. I was up all night practicing the double thumb technique and now ive perfected it :) all thanks to your well paced and extremely helpful tutorials.

i have the exact same stingray but it doesnt sound like yours how do you get so much compression

I think, although I'm no expert, that it's used more for the mute than the harmonics

No, I just set my webcam software to grap the sound from my input/line in on my pc.

Pretty slick, you must need some kind of software for that though right?,

I use the headphone output, and split the signal so it goes to the headphone and the input of my pc.

I know the Pandora PX5D can interface directly with the computor but how are you doing it with the PX4D?
