  • @allenbina He told me the reading head was bent, and since it was an internal drive it would need replacing, why are you so determined to slander any company that isn't apple? They've almost never let me down with this product or any other. The only time i've ever had trouble with them was when my laptop broke down and I was over in America, other than that they've been fine.

  • @Pilkingtube ha, indeed. what most likely happened is that they just replaced the blue ray player instead of really figuring out what the problem was. if the problem wasn't the blue ray player and something else that he needed to troubleshoot, you would have been screwed. i had a bad power supply that was causing my usb ports to drop. they basically replaced the motherboard twice, and then just gave me a new computer by the time i figured out what the problem was by googling it.

  • @allenbina Really? When I called Dell with a problem on my blu-ray player they came out next day and replaced it for me, guess we have different levels of customer service in the UK. 0_o

  • @Pilkingtube you can't install osx on a car either. the real advantage of having a mac on a user level is troubleshooting. if you call dell with a video card problem, they blame the manufacturer, if you call the manufacturer, they call dell. if you have a problem with your mac, you call the apple store and they fix it.

on a technical level, you have infinitely better security on a mac because of simple permissions .nix systems have had forever.

  • I'm really looking at buying one of these. They're portable so I could carry it with me along with a laptop for a mobile blogging station.

  • @dekuking Because unlike Windows, Apple is a closed system, you aren't allowed to install the OS that you bought with your own cash onto anything other than the system it was pre-installed on, yay Apple :D

  • Hackentosh!

  • I. AM. BUYING. FIVE!!!

  • @latinlegacy you are so fucking stupid, its in the title idiot.

  • haha cool. I fink it is a linux (ubuntu) with mac theme.
