A similar event occurred in November 2009 when my family found our cat under the back steps of our house when he was 2 months old. My dad heard meowing in the dining room, the room directly in front of the back door & steps, and went outside to look for it. Since he couldn't see anything from outside, and he was too tall to fit under the model railway in my basement, directly under the dining room, he asked me to, and I was the one who found my family's newest cat. Pretty heartwarming, isn't it?

@monny287 oooooh. that explains it. my neighbour's cat likes to sleep on the hood of my car every time i drove my car back home. i'll be looking at the cat thinking isn't the hood too hot? you're not burning? lol but that is sure one lucky kitty.

It's quite common, actually. Cats are attracted to the heat the engine puts out, especially since it tends to stay warm for a littlew hile after the car is turned off. He could have been abandoned by his mother and seeking warmth. Being as small as he is, he slipped down into a place where he couldn't get back out. Thank goodness the neighbor didn't turn on the car and go somewhere!

Thank you. Thank you for saving this poor little kitten. if it wasn't for you, it wouldn't be here right now. you are a very kind hearted person. Again, thank you. :)
