Here's a medley of Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine, Bonaparte's Retreat, & Little Cairo on my twelve inch custom Chuck Lee banjo with nylagut strings.
Both Bonaparte tunes are played separately on my "Vintage Banjo" cd, there are simple tabs to both tunes in "Vintage Banjo Tab Book."
They are both available from my website:

  • excelente sonido, muy grave, supongo que es por la piel del banjo,.......es un sonido autenticamente old-time .... muy bonita ejecucion

  • Forgot the "k"...

  • Very nice...thans!

  • hell yeah. you are the bomb

  • I was wondering, if i want to switch to nylgut on my banjo, does it require some adjustments on the banjo or we simply change for a set of nylgut? Your sound is awesome and your playing too.

  • Very nice! I usually play BCTR in double D. Which tuning where you playing it in then?

    Best regards, John.

  • We love listening to you play the banjo, Mary!

  • Good stuff Mary!

  • Sounds great as always. I just have my first set of nygut on an old Buckbee and I love the sound, now if I can just get a little nearer to your quality of playing, I might be able to play when someone else is in the house.

    Thanks for another enjoyable video.

  • Never stop playing Mary !!!
