This video was very helpful but me personally I would like to start doing articles online before going to magazine I just want to take baby steps before I go into magazine articles. Me personally I can relate only to magazine that talks about poetry, Entrepreneurs, and Mommy magazine..I don't want to do anything about fashion or Teen...I enjoyed your vid !!!

As a freelancer for more than a decade, I found the advice here generally to be quite sound.

However, her answer to the first question is not necessarily correct.

There are magazines and newspapers that consider people's level of education when deciding to hire them as freelancers.

I have applied and written for small community newspapers in Seattle that required a college degree for Freelancers.

Iam not talking alternative weekly or daily here but community papers.
