"Somewhere Over The Rainbow" - Childrens Music Workshop

During a presentation for participants at a Children's Music Workshop in the summer of 2007 by the Center for Arts Foundation.

Taken two weeks after turning 4yr. It was also his first time to mingle with so many children and to sing infront of a crowd. Because of his very young age, not much was absorbed during the workshop, the interaction with other children was for us the most important part.

In the video is Sir Jerome Vinarao, the founder of this Music Workshop. Jerome Vinarao is the president and artistic director of the Center for Arts Foundation, Inc.He has been teaching performing arts in the Philippines and other countries (specializing in Voice, Dance and Acting) He also manages talents and artists. He produces record albums, concerts and other events in the Philippines and abroad. He is also the music teacher or vocal coach of the likes of Sarah Jeronimo.

Hopefully, kid can join another workshop again one day.

This is just one of the songs he loves to sing.

Before attending this workshop, Alden already knew and sang this song at home. He had no formal schooling yet at that time,so most times he would memorize the songs while being given a bath and singing to them at his sleep.

A music lover at an early age, he use to watch Sound of Music (4 x day for 3mos!!!! ) on CD which is his favorite. After watching Wizard of Oz, I decided to teach him this song too.

Right now I am planning to have him some formal music lessons, piano maybe or guitar. He has a natural widow and has very good audio memory.

He likes: Julie Andrews ( all time fav), Michael Jackson (recently) and thinks Paul McCartney is his friend. lol
