I have already said I not all suicide bombing is religious The article you refer to seems to not appreciate the tamil tigers were big suicide bombers, and were not religious about it, they saw it as a necessary tactic to gain freedom for their people.

My point is is religion about something real? No its not, there is no evidence for a God.

Would we be better of without it? I say yes.

@Sunky4u Alright fair enough about the fact that some people may have done it who werent religious. I personally cant think of one, at all, but still it may have happened once or twice. The main fact that I am trying to get across is that religion is by far the biggest cause of it! And just to point out, a world without religion would most probably be a much better place!

Religion is the main creator of suicide bombings in todays world. You can mince words and try and sound clever saying its something about brains, but its those brains that have been warped by religion that do the acts. Dont feed them religion and they wouldnt be blowing themselves up. Period.

I will readily agree with you, that were the bible true, it set downs the rules of an evil, mad God, requiring his creations to endlessly love and praise him whilst obeying rules many of which go against a nature he created within us.

Luckily, its virtually certain, that the bible is not the word of god, instead it is the mumblings or some dark ages goat herders, and it has no message for us at all.

What would a godless world be like?

George Bush withdrew aid from charities in Africa that proposed safe sex campaigns instead of abstinence resulting in the deaths of thousands from aids and children born into the misery of unwanted childhood. He also caused the deaths of over 1 million civilians in iraq. All this, with God on their side Islamists kill themselves and others, Christians mainly kill others, but kill far more.
