I bet if you punched out the back cardboard and replaced it with the same thing you have on the front it would be better. That way they can't chew through. Just a thought. very creative btw.

OH COOOL was that a hairless mouse I saw in the shot or a trick of the light? If it is hairless where did you get it, did you have to find a breeder? By the way that is one cool cage and some lucky spoiled rats. Sorry to hear they chewed into the wall.

@meconbon oh well the top of the water bottle was to big for the mesh to i had to cut a little hole and stick it in there . and to hold it on the cage i just use the metal thing that comes with water bottles :)

Do your rats always use the litter box okay? I am thinking about making a book shelf cage. You did a great job.

@thulechaos kinda LOL but I don't use that cage any more because they ate threw it and into my wall !!!! so I would make in with a wood back because mine ........ ate the cardbord on the back :( !
