im delighted there upping the fee's as a recent graduate it might encourage students to actually attend there lectures
-
@Dossy600 having a moan? we were protesting the raise in our fees! now most of us have to take out loans just to get an education and some people cant afford college at all! say what you want but now since its past your kids will have to pay over 2500euro each just to go to college! if ignorance is bliss then you must be Buddha!

@looneyirish007 If you think I'm gonna pay 5000 euro for my education next year you must be having a laugh, we're just standing up for our right to education i'll be there next week 16th November!

The Gardai were completely wrong. How on earth can people support them? A minority provoked them, the rest sat down and were beaten with batons and riot shields? Nice to see the Gardai doing there job you know, beating innocents unconscious? At least they manage to put bondholders and the real people guilty of ruining this country to justice.. Oh wait. The heavy handed approaches are obvious when the riot squad blatantly charges the crowd! Students are completely right to protest!

unconsious . . . . me hole!!!!

fair play to the gardai,., the gardai are there to keep order

Wake up!!!!!...The police reacted properly. Students sitting down on the road, causing public disorder, throwing planks of wood, bottles and acid at the police. It's called "Public Disorder". Police have the right to restore order. And I DO NOT see any heavy handed approaches, as relayed by the journalist. In the States we would have tear-gased them and used water cannon. Wake up to reality people!!!
