Oh Lord, Sean is about as Jamaican as you can get! He is from Kingston, his surname is Henriques. The Henriques family were Sephardic silversmiths who came to Jamaica in the early 19th c. A lot of Sephardic artisans came to Yahd. My dad's family came from Spain around the same time and they were diamond cutters/jewellers. Despite all the mixing and matching, I identify as Black. suffer from the stereotype all the time too, i dont look like a jamaican but i am and i am black. people tell me the color of my eyes are not jamaican and other stuff. jamaica is a big melting pot of different mixtures.
