Spend a day with former oil worker Steve Combs as he shows you how the oil industry has polluted his water well and hometown of Crossville, IL.

Illinois, the Land of Lincoln as the slogan goes, is in the process of completing rules and regulations for high volume horizontal fracturing. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources closed their public comment period Jan. 3rd, 2014 with overwhelming citizen outrage of the proposed rules and regulations they would enforce. The IDNR is antsy to get the rules done for the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules to review. Fracking could begin as soon as summer of 2014.

Fracking is not safe and needs to be banned.
