  • is the vice of a forced induction.. yet the stock computer is very adept at preventing this... as long as all your sensors are working correctly and you have an adequate fuel delivery system... 600+ hp is very very possible.. ......JUST so you know

  • 640hp and still using the tubular gt40 intake? wow, imagine that motor with a wide open intake and a carb

  • Wrong,,you cant change mass and injectors without tuning the eec, you still have 9pt mass air transfer,its piggybacked., y would u waste money on a dyno and not tune it,,,come on,,your only fooling people who dont know about the mustang eec strategy

  • @The93Stallion not the case... its called matching mass air flow meter no chip needed. im running 30 lb injectors with out a chip on three of my mustangs. one is making close to 550 rwhp and the other two are around 350 rwhp (one auto and two 5 speed) the stock computer works great although a tune is in the near future to make sure the fuel maps are okay

  • I'm sure he's running larger injectors than the stock 19lbs injectors with 600 plus horsepower so in order for the stock computer to accept larger injectors, a chip must be in place.

  • im over 600hp with a stock A9L tune. its all in the maf. the stock computer may not be the fastest thing on the planet but it handles things just fine.

  • didn't read through most the comments, but its not a chip. Willing to bet its a piggy back system like a anderson PMS tuner.

    the mass air computer will compensate for the changes in air an fuel ratio

    with a callibrated mass air meter and matched injectors ....600hp would only be the begining of what the computer can handle.. the computers in these cars are relatively simple taking a combined reading from the map sensor O2 sensor and the mass air meter, the computer calculated the air fuel ratio and adds, more or less fuel and more or less timing, to keep the mixture from preignition...which is what
