@fabse64 Isnt glowstone activate-able by redstone?
-
you didn't really show us how to build this. I know the basic concept of it, but I can't get the wiring down
-
@fabse64 LOL the real walrus.
-
@tedman0674 You need to play around with diodes (repeaters) and their delay.
After some time you'll find a way to get it working in both directions.
Unfortunately, I can't send you the mapfile since I accidentaly loaded it whilst using 1.6.
Because of that, all my pistons and some other stuff (like redstone wires) disappeared.
I think I'll be trying to rebuild it in some time, but I can't promise anything.

real, nice thing, that goin into a dark room having to know where the lights switch is to proceed. would be nice if the construction could be made easier and smaller though

@MyNameIsNotKiller Yup. Actually, look at TheRealWalrus' channel.
He has made a really nice piston lightswitch which is compact.
It's located under your floor though, but it works exactly as mine does.

@fabse64 it isn't possibly TheRoyalWalrus?

@MyNameIsNotKiller Indeed, it is. Sorry. :D

@fabse64 checked it out. it's a clever construction and setup I must say! you use exactly the same, did you say? (thanks for the tip)

@MyNameIsNotKiller The way I switch between light and no light is the same.
His setup, however, is very different from mine.
While watching his video you probably noticed that his construction is way smaller than mine.
That's the difference. Also, his redstone wire works on a completely other way.
