  • Good news, the First Circuit Court of Appeals held recording police is protected by the First Amendment. This IL law would be thrown out if the Seventh Circuit ruled similarly.

  • Having evidence against the police brutality is against the law. Police car record you without permission and that is legal. Where is superman when we need him most?

  • Say bye bye to your rights. 75 years is EXTREMLY EXCESSIVE. And needs a slap on the hand and maybe a fine. We are getting closer and closer to a dictatorship.

  • Uh, actually what the reporter did was a felony. The law doesn't say you can't play an audio recording, it says you cannot record audio without permission. Arrest him!
