I saw his NYC debut as Arturo in I PURITANI and he has certainly matured in stage presence a lot since then.

@ricardoluizvaladares Yeah, I think it sounds like falsetto too, except possibly the last one, but even that one is on the fence.

Very fine high C's and in his prime he was great as a lyric tenor on those high C's , they are real, not falsetto. I heard him in Puritani complete, on stage years ago and he was very fine and the 1987 the recital in Italywas so good he did sing this twice as an extra encore and the second one was even better. The Italians wildly gave him Bravo's. He spoke in perfect Italian to them also. His C's took no back seat to lighter lyric voices.

You don't know what you are talkng about when you say falsetto. Those C's are mostly head voice but it is mixed with chest. It is real voice for sure properly done.
