Honestly, I hate it when people think that every dance has to always be exact in technique. Blues (to me) is about feeling, and most of the time it's a very personal dance. I hate to say it, Cibomatto47, but I believe you are in no place to say what is or isn't blues dancing.
Also. There's no age limit for blues dances.
On a brighter note, what was the song that started to play in the beginning?

@cibomatto47 I'm with slaine88: who are you to say what is and isn't blues? Arguably, *you* are the one that doesn't know what blues dancing is if you think it's only one narrow style of dance danced flawlessly by two pros. By your logic and attitude, we should all storm out of middle school band concerts and little kids' piano recitals saying "this isn't Strauss! pure garbage!"
Lighten up.

@cibomatto47 Totally agree. I wish more people would learn how to really blues before they post videos like this. It just spreads the misconceptions around.

How about drinking age?

What's up with the father-daughter sex dance???

The Normans disappeared as an ethnic group in the early thirteenth century; maybe they SHOULD have danced like that!
I don't know how long these two have been dancing but it's obvious they're beginners. The leading is sloppy and the follow has little musical intuition. Your center of gravity, for the both of you, is focused too high. Blues is a dance that's meant to be grounded...
Last time I checked, picking up your follow and twirling her around didn't constitute blues dancing either. Maybe you guys should check out a blues workshop sometime...

@cibomatto47 - You that make dancing no fun.

@slaine88 I make dancing plenty of fun. I also make a point to let others know that these two are not blues dancing. They're taking what little they know about dance and calling it blues. I'd hate for others to fall under the false pretense that this is any manner a good example.
Learning takes time and they have an idea of the basics--they just need to refine them.

@cibomatto47 I didn't realize there was a blues police. Maybe you should take a class on offering criticism, because you come across like someone who has a stick in an area that makes swiveling your hips very uncomfortable. But I am sure you, with your critical eye, have noticed that this is two beginners showing off what they learned and improvising.

Awfully young to dance the blues? How old is old enough to dance the blues?
