Jimmy is playing through my Twin Reverb amp on this. Very cool.

Great Jimmy!

What an awesome playing by Jimmy! The baritone/guitar duet is unusual but sounded really nice. It's intimate yet very powerful.

Thanks for posting - Jimmy sounds great as always. Rest of band just drops out when Jimmy plays his solo...Intersting gig, was Jimmy hired to sit with this community concert band in as a guest artist or...? English horn jazz soloist, not something one sees (hears) too often.

Man, I wonder how many guys in that ensemble actually wanted to play along?

They were playing...they played a whole set but sat that one out for the duet.

This was from a high school jazz festival that I helped organize a few years ago. I invited JB to come as the artist in residence. The band is the Kent State University Jazz ensemble. The baritone player is Chas Baker, the KSU jazz band director. On this number JB and Baker did a duet. The band just watched. I thought a baritone/guitar duet was unusual so I posted it here so others can enjoy as well....great tune as well...
Thanks for the note.
