5 Pointz in Long Island City, NY has long been a safe haven for graffiti artists around the world to paint. But now, the building's owners are looking to tear down the building and replace it with apartment rentals. They'll still retain space to paint, they say, but it won't be the towering, graffiti-covered structure it is today.

  • one fucking wall that's bullshit

  • mad props to my boy ETAKS

  • sucks to see it go but who cares. Graffiti is always fleeting art form- nothing is ever permanent. but the good news is graffiti can be done ANYWHERE. Its nice enough that the new owner of the property wants to go as far as designating a wall for it- and guarantee there will be some herbs out there fighting for every square inch as if its the only place in the world to paint graffiti lol the rest of us will have to somehow go on living our lives without 5 pointz
