poor beutiful animals...live their lives trapped behind bars ,as if they were criminals...

they should be put in some sort of reservations...Huge REservations...just for them!

There are no bars. And space is not all that is important in life.

In my opinion, all the animal inhabitants of the Philadelphia Zoo (and of most zoos) are far luckier than animals living in the wild, or in reservations, where nature treats them a lot less lovingly and does not provide expert veterinary care.

You sound like a very bitter person who looks for negatives where there are none. I hope you will learn to look for good, especially where good really does outweigh the bad.

its a white lion. if it were in the wild, that lion wouldn't make it pass 3 months without being hunted. White lions are extremely vonerable in the wild.

Thanks for your input. White lions and lionesses would no doubt be in danger from poachers even on reservations.

At the Philadelphia Zoo, these lions, who are very old for lions (18 years old), have a wonderful, safe life.

It is also very hard to hunt for the white lions, unlike normal lions that blend in with their surroundings, the elk or boars etc that the lions feed on, they would see the white lion from a mile away.
