Taking my dad up for the first time since I got my Pilot's Certificate last year on an overcast summer afternoon. We departed the home drome (40I) and flew around the area, landing at Wright Brothers Airport (MGY) along the way. It was quite cool for August - only about 65 degrees - so the plane performed quite well for a Cessna 150 with two adults on board. Winds were out of the North-Northwest all afternoon so there was a slight crosswind at both airports. On return to Stewart I made a short field approach and landing.
Thanks! I just rent right now, but I can't imagine a 150 would be very expensive to own. It's about the cheapest way you can burn holes in the sky.
For lots of great information, try Googling the "Cessna 150 152 Club."
