What a beautiful piece - in the original 3-pt. version the two upper parts stand equally as complete melodies. I think the second, charmingly inebriate version is by Isaak. (Help me if I am in error.) Who wrote the last, four-part version? Legend has it that when Busnois heard that the New World had been discovered he keeled over in horror, crying, "Quel dommage, ca; quelle erreur!".
