Oh and BTW, for all you people who think carpenter bees are nonaggressive, think again. These things have a sting that packs a huge wallop. I know, I've been stung 5X in the last week by the damn things. As for them being solitary, wrong again.

@Rifleman74 Ummm, you're wrong. I've been attacked twice in the last 2 weeks....stung 2X first attack....3X 2nd attack. Up until these things went loco, I'd believe they were harmless too.

Lol that was adorable! But yea insects are bothersome! You know what bothers me? ANTS cause they keep coming in from all over our house and they are getting into the knife drawer and sometimes they are squished somewhere on a spoon or in a bowl! Yuck.

i agree...i love animals too, but i can't stand carpenter bees! i like them, they are awfully cute but the males chase me when i'm trying to walk my dog. i know they don't have stingers and the females are very unlikely to sting but i just can't get over my phobia of bees.
