Last of the bonus dungeons to tackle, Lifespring Grotto, and with the supposedly hardest bosses in the end to boot. Although there will be forced exp right in front of them again, I am totally free to take care of the first two bosses.
You face the mightiest Swordsman of all Ivalice! Or was it Galufs world? Who knows. Anyway, our favorite swordsman is back in action! Did you know he actually had his first appearance in FF3? Not so much known fact.
Gilgamesh seems quite defensive to me and used mainly his normal attack against me, but later he did some Wind Slash which was actually painful. His protect takes a bit of damage away, but nothing to worry about, and his curing is pathetic as well. With enough uses of White Robes, he was easily survivable, and Rune Staffs took care of all healing needed.
Atomos is a bit less fun. His Wormhole and Comet are instant kills and his Firaga is so strong it usually kills both Red Mages at the very least. He is, however, suspectible to status attacks, but both Comet and Wormhole are not afflicted by Silence so that leaves Paralysis and Confusion to take care of him (and Sleep if I had that spell). Taking care of his actions is my top priority, Atomos cannot win if under Silence because it removes Firaga, his only multi-target attack, but thats not enough still because I won't be doing damage if he still kills my chars one after the other and I had to rebuff all the time. This went rather well, like usually, but Atomos has a higher resistance then most other bosses do so it took a few trys.
dumb question but in the very begining is the laugh and music edited or is that really in the game?
