@framecode dont get me wrong in all honesty its a goal if we were to use that kind of thinking but to avoid all of the debating the refs and nhl made the right call. Unless there is 100% proof to count it, the goal is no good. so yes IMO and urs as well its a goal but rules are rules and they made the right call even though it sucks

@Thekingcmk in response to all of the above posts... when you see the puck in the replay, which appears as a black blur, you can see the full goal line above it. the only thing which we might consider debatable is whether white ice was clearly showing or not. undoubtedly, the puck as over the line. whether or not that constitutes a goal is the decision of those in toronto with the video replay. the argument that the puck is over the line simply isn't there. the puck is over the line.

I will say if someone wants to make some money in sports, invinte a device to put in pucks and footballs to sense when they cross the line or touch it to make it good or not.

@framecode lol from a youtube video u can tell that but the NHL using thousand dollar equipment couldnt. yeah nice try, u never once see it go past COMPLETELY, Imo its a goal, but by the rules and what the Refs HAVE to follow its a no goal, u never see the puck pass completely.

every rink should have hd high speed cameras.. the puck moves too fast these days to be relying on aged technology. actual slow motion wouldve showed that puck over the line. not like these cheap ass cameras that show it skipping half a foot every second.
