"Francis William Bourke (born April 2, 1947) is a former Australian rules football player who played in the VFL between 1967 and 1981 for the Richmond Football Club and coached the Tigers between 1982 and 1983. One of the most respected Australian footballers of any era, Bourke was reverentially nicknamed "St Francis" for his approach to the game. A key figure in a halcyon period at Richmond, Bourke is a five-time premiership player who was honoured with selection in the AFL's team of the century. His family holds a unique place in the history of Richmond as the only family to provide three generations of players for the senior team: Francis' father Frank played sixteen matches in the 1940s, while son David played 85 games between 1995 and 2001."
