Mark Hoppus - Rare Footage 1989-1990

This is a compilation of videos from Mark's last year in High School put together by a fellow classmate who subsequently posted it on YouTube. I was fortunate enough to contact the original UL and get some further information:
"Mark and I went to Burroughs High School in Ridgecrest, ca. years would have been about 1989-1992 something like that. This video was compiled by me, not sure who really took the videos I think it was in video class maybe. One part was senior school trip to a surf and turf place out of town, one was for the school book video and the other one is from I think a grad night party for the graduating class."

In 1990, Mark was in a band called "Of All Things", which is the concert footage you see here. They covered songs by The Descendents. Mark continued to play with this band through 1992 while forming Blink.

@Everyone It was not Burroughs in Virginia. It was Sherman E Burroughs in a little town called Ridgecrest CA. I know cause i live here so i love how people say they know things and they dont. Im not trying to be rude just get things right.

@PhilBurtJpants well iknow that this footage was taken at his high school in virginia, he isnt from san diego, he went too a high school called burroghs high school in virginia his whole high school time, then after graduating moved too san diego with his daad and later met tom delonge through his own sister, mark hoppuses parents were divorced thats why he lived in virgina then moved too san diego he is origianaly from virginia though, his high school was a catholic privat school aswell. :)
