DEADPOOL Director Tim Miller Updates On Movie - EXCLUSIVE

If you're anything like me, you've spent days and nights wondering if we'll ever get to see that much-talked-about Deadpool movie, and what it's going to take to actually get this character his own solo movie on the big screen. I talked to the project's director Tim Miller for an update on all things Deadpool, who confirmed they're still "in the game" with a revised script from "Zombieland" writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and that "Deadpool" is closer to getting that green light than it was 2 months ago. Although it's still a waiting game for Deadpool, fans of the Marvel anti-hero will be happy to know that the team behind the project is still very passionate about bringing this movie to the big screen, best summed up in a quote from Miller who said, "we will never give up!" He also went on to say, "Deadpool is still alive and we're just waiting for the studio to fully realize what an AMAZINGLY FUCKING AWESOME film this would be. Ryan is ready, I am ready, the fans are MORE than ready—we just need that elusive greenlight!" Ryan Reynolds recently told Yahoo Movies that, despite the fact that a "Deadpool" movie with a hard R rating might be considered a risk, he is confident the film will get made eventually and that they are presenting it to FOX as a project with a smaller budget that would have a minimal impact on the studio in order to get the movie made the way it should be. The actor also described the film as being "very meta" with Deadpool knowing he's a comic book character in a movie. Let's break down that fourth wall! Tell me, fellow fans, what do you think of the latest news on Deadpool? Leave a comment below and let me know how long you've been waiting to see this movie happen, and what you'd like to see if and when it does. Until next time, I'm Erin Darling.
