Lol, his newer work is a lot more complex. For instance - Disko can't be performed live unless Georg (the keyboardest) is there. He's the only one that really knows how to play it.

I admit that the older work has a lot more samples in it, and was deeper into the world's past, but times are a lot different.. and this is just one of those changes. Evestus' music has become a lot deeper and heavier, and I think personally thats a great thing! :D

musically it's not as good as the old stuff. but it certainly isn't terrible. I'm not mad, just disappointed.

As for lyrics or message, I never really listen to that stuff anyway. It just seems like the message is the same as half the other angsty angry bands and musicians out there. I think the best way to go with lyrics is to produce something that is pseudo-meaningful, or even complete nonsense. It's the only way to avoid the cliche.

This is the NEW Evestus! It's sending a message out to people that we're not going to succome to the crap in this world. We WILL fight on for our freedoms against the mainstream basically. I may be performing this song myself soon.
