You've probably never seen this. It's the original 60 second version of "How many Licks does it take to get to the tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop". This commercial aired in 1969 and may be the longest running TV commercial in history.

  • Kilplix. (Nuff said)

  • turn on transcribe audio, it makes no sense

  • .....How did i get here?

  • @hungovermyhead The kid isn't exactly "naked"

This commercial is produced under Murakami Wolf, You can tell from the art style that Fred Wolf did the drawings himself as this style of characters is later revisited in the TV Movie "The Point"

  • I was 19 when this first aired. I've seen it more than I ever wanted to see ANY ad.

By the way, Peter Lorre died in 1964.

  • @hungovermyhead: Well, it WAS the '60's! :)

  • Mr. Cow?.... Do you mean... Mr. Sulu?! 0_0

  • @smurbaniak

Yesssssssth! Frank Nelson IS the cow! But you are right there, Peter Lorre's the fox. Ralph James the turtle. Interestingly, that's Paul Winchell as the Owl [it alwqays sounded like British nasal actor Richard Haydn, or US actor Shepard Menken doing an imiation, a la "The Alvin Show"'s Clyde Crashcup.] Herschel Bernardi does the closing tag.,
