How to Sew a Martingale Collar for your Italian Greyhound, Whippet, or Retired Greyhound.

Martingale collars are perfect for sight hounds, but can be a bit difficult to find and/or pricey. If you have some basic sewing skills, make your own martingale collar and save a few $$.

Sewing Skill Level: Beginner

Materials:
Sewing Machine - http://amzn.to/1aLl2bn
3 D rings (1") - http://amzn.to/HlZE0W
Nylon webbing (1 inch wide and 8 to 12 inches long) - http://amzn.to/17jaIc3
Fabric (for front of the collar)
Fleece Fabric (for the lining)
Scissors
Coordinating sewing machine thread

The martingale collar Dash is wearing in the opening picture was made with the same technique and I added iron-on letters with his name.
