Dodge Cummins Coldstart@-10*C

started the dodge for the first time in a week today at -10*C and it didnt start worth anything. the grid heater elements are screwed so they dont heat up as fast as normally.

@5Zylinder bet your little import diesel aint got 500,000 km's on it or towed 12,000lbs up hills in overdrive passing cars like yours. and still have a 0-60 time of 8 seconds. thats right hoss, the cummins wins in all areas.

`s and you will see that its not a Problem to do 1.000.000km. with it. And they still start lovely at - 20 up to -30°C. Does your truck have Glow plugs ?

i dont care if my 89 12v took 3 hours to start in the cold, id still rather have my cummins than any powerjoke or dirtysnatch

@6030diesel If your Grid heaters dont work and you dont have Glow plugs, its ok when it starts that hard.

you would save your starter and batteries if you had a can of John Deere ether. one lil shot turn the key starts right up
