  • Why this has never been released as a "foreign film" in America, I will never understand. This looks every bit as good as Akira Kurosawa's films.

  • Who says Toho's movies are B movies? This is a fantastic film.

  • @RocStarr1983 It probably has something to do with copyright.

  • I would love for Criterion to release a remastered version of this movie. It looks so spectacular.

  • I've never seen this film, but from the looks of things, Orochi was the highlight of the movie.

  • It's a really great movie.

    Kind of "Toho all-star"-cast:

    Of course fantastic Toshiro Mifune.

Akihiko Hirata and Takashi Shimura, both known from several Godzilla films.

Special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya(Godzilla), and Music by Akira Ifukube.

    It's an absolute must-have

  • where can i get this

  • Damn, this is some serious high budget stuff!

  • I'd buy those bracelets

  • This movie was the longest Toho movie I know as well as starring Ororchi. It was also been converted into a remake into "Yamato Takeru".
