but Harper wants the crime rate to rise, that way he can sell cheaper prison labours to companies, use "Made in Canada" to sell the goods, when most of the prisoners will likely be working for slave wages. but then maybe I'm just paranoid.

Harper is attempting to make Canada a Police State as is happening by the policies of Bush and Obama in the USA. They are big government NWO thugs. All of the provinces should reject the costs associated with this CRAP legislation should it pass. It's far to costly and crime rates have been steadily dropping.
