@valvalient In SONNY BONO's book from a few years back Sonny sez that when he was writing for Phil,,Phil would always ask everyone DOES IT SOUND DUMB ENOUGH after recording a song in the studio.

@LiberalDemocrat83 No prints on it ??? Where'd you read or see that. I personally think they were both drunk and probably high and playing with his gun THEN he runs out telling the Chauffer I THINK I KILLED SOMEONE.

@tonyblairinmybed I will always believe PHIL SPECTER was a victim of circumstances. The statement he made to that chauffer AND then after Roert Blake and OJ got off,,,here comes PHIL,,,the jury was up against all that. I think him and Clarkson were fooling around with his gun probably both drunk or high or both and the gun went off. His appearance in court didn't help.

Phil Spector's parents were 1st cousins... His father committed suicide when Phil was very young, leaving him to be raised by a obsessive controlling mother and a sister who followed in his mother's footsteps. Phil was very short and frail and was constantly picked on by bullies at school. I am not making excuses for him, but certainly he had his challenges. When you combine all that with the wealth and power he achieved, it is not surprising that he developed a history of irrational acts.
