A MINI-LECTURE on... Creating the Museum of History of Polish Jews

Prof. Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett is the head of the Core Exhibition team of the Museum of History of Polish Jews, scheduled to open in Warsaw, Poland in 2013.

Prof. Kirshenblatt-Gimblett gave an illustrated lecture at the Embassy of Poland about this unique museum, the first public-private institution of its kind in Poland - jointly established by Poland's government, local Warsaw government, and an NGO: the Jewish Historical Association in Warsaw, which initiated the project. We sat down with her before the event to learn about the museum, its significance and role.
