Dale Earnhardt Intimidator Roller Coaster Debuts

The Intimidator, a new roller coaster inspired by NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, took its first laps on Friday in a media preview before the ride opens to the public on Saturday, March 27 at Carowinds in Charlotte, N.C.

@torkiobosta Well thats kool, but this coaster is better for Charlotte just bc Dale was a legend......And its nice for Charlotte to be knowledge for something more then nascar, this is a nascar coaster.....But kings dominion looks really good too.

The one at King's Dominion VA is SO MUCH BETTER! It's 305 ft. high, the drop is at a 85 degree angel, and the speed is 92 mph!

It's an amazing ride, I was fortunate enough to make it to both media day and get on the first three trains for opening day through the auction - 3rd train - for Dale's #3 last car

A friend of mine works at Carowinds, and he says it's an awesome ride! I'm going to the park later on during summer, so I can't wait to check it out!
