    They say you didn't make it til you were on the Muppet Show, I think this was true.

    I agree with cunard61, we need more of these shows today. Reality TV is ruining society, everyone is too stressed, we need a respite for a few hrs a week.

    Absolutely! I'm 43 and their Christmas special from 1979 and the album that came with it STILL make the holidays for me, as does "Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas". Walt Disney may be a staple of American society, but Jim Henson was a genius the likes of which the world may never see again.
