My family and I used to listen to John Denver's greatest hits as drove 3 hrs to my aunts for Thanksgiving when I was a kid. This song was one of my favourites and I knew all the songs off that album by the time I was 7. :) Great video and I loved watching the muppets as well!

I agree with cunard61, we need more of these shows today. Reality TV is ruining society, everyone is too stressed, we need a respite for a few hrs a week.

@cunard61 Absolutely! I'm 43 and their Christmas special from 1979 and the album that came with it STILL make the holidays for me, as does "Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas". Walt Disney may be a staple of American society, but Jim Henson was a genius the likes of which the world may never see again.
