  • What a magnificent woman! I can only imagine how difficult it would be for someone as wise and thougtful as Mary Robinson, to get elected President of America.

  • @joeyeire Absolutely agree with you. How anyone with any knowledge of Mary Robinson's career history to date and her work for civil liberties which not only marginalised but threatened her could doubt her integrity beggars belief. These are not 'popular' messages or causes she espouses and have never been. It's a wilful ignorance that igores that. And as for 'swissnor' below, the limits of your contribution are obvious.

  • an absolutely amazing woman with unbelievable integrity any negative comments here are seriously mis-informed

  • She is, without a doubt, the worst speaker I have ever witnessed. How the fuck has she gotten so far?

  • DONT TRUST THIS PERSON

  • BobbleHead Mary

  • Mary Robinson has done bugger all for Darfur. Sit in her committees and say tsk, tsk. Sit in her UN offices a talk, talk, talk. Not one of these useless buggers ever gets their hands dirty, ever really tries to help. And when anyone does intervene they are ready to condemn them. She uses other people's misfortune to get rich and make a big name for herself, but she has never done a damn bit of good.

  • Mary Robinson and others outside Africa are doing a great job for the people in Darfur. They could use some support from Africans though.Sadly, this is not very likely in the near future though. The AU now has Gaddafi as its chairman(Elected there by African presidents),the rest of the African presidents seem to be in bed with him.I dont know that AU is going to care about Darfur now.But still her great work is not going to be for nothing, even if only one life is saved.
