I read the series when I was in primary school, Masakochan17.

Even if I was given free tickets to the entire theatre,

after seeing this trailer, i'd rather read them all again.

God I shudder to think the horror of what they'd have done if they'd continued it to a series urgh...they'd screw up all the Welsh bits and being from Wales I'd probably fly over to the US just to give the director a decking.

Yeah he was a bit pissed off to begin with, I loved it when he changed near the end. Best character by FAR.

@faville I tried watching it after reading the books. McShane was actually pretty good, but not even he could save the movie.

@annie10103 Keep reading. Merriman gets better. I thought he was rather cranky in the first half of the second book, but then he goes back to his badass, snarky self. :)
