Sorry, but I don't see what any of this has to do with the video/the parade/the fact that a sore horse is not a very festive sight to see in a parade.

MrKiokee, you've already proved by your other comments that you don't know anything about horses, and I wouldn't be surprised if you're just a troll account that works for the carriage company in question. Anyone who knows anything can see that that horse is swaybacked, old, and lame-- definitely NOT beautiful.

I miss the police horses too. It's a complete shame the unit got disbanded. Maybe Menino hates horses...ha!

@PKingman, I am familiar with the regular Boston carriage horses and this particular one is around 35 years old-- the equivalent of being 105 in human years! I'm sure the slippery road conditions didn't help either.
I did enjoy the video though, it looked like a good parade.

@emsterly Looks like they shouldn't have used that horse. Missed the police horses this year. Glad you enjoyed the video.

The white horse at the beginning is disgraceful-- it is obviously lame on the front right and terribly short and stiff on both back legs. Menino needs to be more discerning in who gets hired for this type of public event because that is blatant cruelty!
Loved the sparkly mini Cooper though!

@emsterly I was worried about the horse also. It could have been the salt on the street that was bothering him. He looked old.
