whell we should not hang up on terms of direct 3D/Open Gl or rendered...lol...i guess you get my point ot the perspective thing ; ) How long did you work on it? Have you used Cosmos for FEA before?

The project was a module in Uni. It took 6 of us 6 weeks to model around 100 parts, assemble, animate and render posters. Parts were reverse engineered from a Tamiya 1:25 model kit with engine internals made form pretty good guess work

good job...but try swiching Perspective on before rendering... ;)
u can see it is off verry easyly when the rear wheels are behind each other.

Which one is better Solidworks or pro engineer

I've only very lightly used solidworks. Seems very good for rendering but the Pro/E is excellent at mechanical engineering. From mass, inertia, servo mechanisms, constraints. It's a very extensive library. Coupled to that, ABAQUS FEA has very good working relationship with it
