Alexandra Scott was diagnosed with cancer when she was only a year old and by age four decided that she wanted to do something to help find a cure. To raise money for pediatric cancer research, she set up a lemonade stand in her front yard, with all of the proceeds going to charity. Today, Alex's Lemonade Stand, the nonprofit organization founded in her memory, is one of the leading charities for pediatric cancer research in the United States. This short film by fbi productions, profiling her story, premiered at the First Annual Volvo for life Awards ceremony in New York in April 2003.
