Chris Cheap Shot Sheridan

On March 21st 2009 Chris Sheridan and Memo Vazquez were scheduled to meet in the Octagon. It was both the fighters second fight and the first with each other. Chris Sheridan was the first to raise his hand to gesture he wanted to touch gloves. Memo Vazquez being a sportsman, being very respectful of his opponents agreed to touch gloves with Chris. With both their gloves raised to meet in the center of the ring, Chris used this gesture to lure his opponent in for a Cheap Shot. Confusion set in for the Referees. The crowd roared with outrage at the pathetic display. As Chris tried to give an unworthy speech chaos continued, with a fury of boos and yells of disapproval. Memo taking the higher ground decided it was neither the time nor the place to argue, left the cage gracefully. As he left, the crowd overwhelmingly chanted MEMO! MEMO! MEMO! Chris Cheap Shot Sheridan had to be escorted by local law enforcement for his own safety. Chris has refused a rematch. If you are fighting Chris Cheap Shot Sheridan beware of his tactics.
